The HealthStream Experience

HealthStream integrates with InstaMed to allow providers to make payments for Medical Staff related services such as application processing and staff dues.

To utilize InstaMed to collect payment from practitioners, the client must:

• Contract with InstaMed for payment transaction processing.
• Enter the necessary details into CredentialStream for CredentialStream to transact on behalf of the client.
• Define the products, pricing, discounts, and the various cost centers for each so that charges can be totaled appropriately, and the payments will flow into the correct department or entity accounts.
• When the provider is ready to pay for their items, they will be sent to InstMed’s site to add the Credit Card information and actually submit the payment.
• Note, for PCI Compliance reasons HealthStream does not store or transmit the Credit Card information.
