ACCME is the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.

With HealthStream and the ACCME webservice integration, you can submit and report learner data for physicians that complete CME activities.

The ACCME has implemented web services to enable the submission of data to its Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) directly from software applications. Web services will enable developers to create code enabling a provider’s learning management system to communicate directly with PARS and reduce the need for CME provider staff to input data directly through manual data entry or batch upload methods.

The HealthStream Experience:

HealthStream offers an optional web service integration with ACCME PARS that automatically transmits MOC points. When a Learner earns MOC credit for an activity, the credit type and amount are instantly transmitted to the ACCME as part of the activity fulfillment process. ACCME PARS then verifies the Learner's name, ACCME number, and birthday, and if approved, sends the MOC points to the medical board for final verification and addition to the Learner's credit history. This automated web service is only available for the medical boards that collaborate with the ACCME.

Rievent-Specific Features:

• Joint accreditation fully supported.
• Automate activity report transmission to the ACCME from within the Rievent admin portal.
• Learners provide their physician license and/or member board ID's, and their activity completion and credit claims are automatically transmitted to CME Passport and MOC member boards upon successful activity completion.
